Sewing Denim Skirts Out of Jeans

My daughters and I have had some fun turning older jeans into skirts.

There are a few websites around with instructions on how to do this.

Here are the ones we have done:

Hannah used a second pair of unwanted jeans to get the extra fabric. 

I made this one for Sierra and used extra fabric for hers..

On this skirt Hannah sewed the front legs together and this left a larger opening in the back.

She filled the opening with fabric.
