Bread Baking At My House
We make 6 loaves of bread every 2 to 3 days. We grind our wheat with a Whisper Mill that I just love. We mix our bread in a Bosch mixer that I truly recommend to anyone serious about making bread. We grind our own wheat to get the maximum amount of vitamins and minerals from the grain and because the oils in the grain will go rancid very quickly. The recipe I use is below and is our main staple bread. It is a soft light whole wheat bread that is delicious. I have priced this bread out to cost me less than $.60 a loaf. This is a very economical way to get a large amount of quality food value for your family. We also use this recipe for cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls. For me in the area I live finding whole grains is an easy thing. I am able to buy my grains from Azure Standard which has a very large delivery area. Try searching for whole grains and gluten flour from your local health food store or search for places on-line (email me it you need help finding some place to order on-line).
